We are grateful that Francine Shapiro, Ph.D., was able to cut the ribbon, and formally mark the opening of our Urban Trauma Center. EMDR offers hope and relief for the victims of violence and we are pleased to be able to offer this innovative treatment to the residents of the Dixwell/Newhallville community. Our thanks to Dr. Shapiro for her tireless efforts to reduce human suffering and her dedication in helping all people heal from the impact of trauma.
