The DN CMHS offers the community a number of family-oriented programs.

Newhallville Summer Enrichment Program

We offer a 5-week summer camp for children ages 5-12 in the Newhallville area. The program is designed to help children develop friendships, personal emotiona awareness, decision making skills, personal safety, physical fitness, cooperation and fair play, and cultural awareness.

Participants will play games, engage in educational activities, hear speakers and go on weekly field trips. Popular trips have included: Quassy Amusement Park, the Beardsley Zoo, the Oakdale Theater, Rocky Neck State Park and bowling.
